    What happened

    Amazon announced the hiring ofCovariant’sco-founders—Pieter Abbeel, Peter Chen, and Rocky Duan—along with approximately 25% of the startup’s staff. The tech giant has also secured a non-exclusive license to utilise Covariant’s robotic foundational models.
